With the year 2020 finally in the rearview mirror, we can now look ahead to what I believe will be many positives in this long-awaited new year. The availability of a vaccine is at the top of my list of things to celebrate and look forward to in 2021. I hope that all of the people who are most at risk get this vaccine, and get it as soon as is humanly possible. After that, I will be eager to have my parents, and then my immediate family, friends and colleagues also get vaccinated. Let's all do our best to help make this happen for everyone.
Despite the pandemic, or perhaps because of it, Concord Pillows has had its best year yet with regard to number of sales. Clients purchased pillows from up and down the East Coast, from Texas and the Mid West, from California and Washington and many places in between. I received many wonderful notes from buyers expressing appreciation for their purchases. They were grateful to invite a new color or pattern into their homes, something that would bring a bit of cheer--and comfort--at a time of stress and uncertainty. Moving forward, I am expecting this trend toward all things comfy and cozy to continue, so I will be adding more soft, plush fabrics and brightly colored patterns to my inventory over the next few months,
Another trend that seems to be on track to continue into 2021 is our love for animals. How wonderful it is to read about animal shelters standing empty as folks line up to rescue cats and dogs. This has certainly been a bright spot during a most difficult year. I am happy to have found this heartwarming, dog-friendly fabric. It probably will not come as a surprise that it is fast becoming a best seller at Concord Pillows.
